Traumatic Reunion for David Goldman and His Son

A Brazilian family delivered 9-year-old Sean Goldman to his American father in Brazil on Thursday, but paraded the scared boy through the streets of Brazil in front of photographers.

After a five-year custody battle, Sean Goldman was finally returned to his American biological father, David Goldman.

Sean Goldman was brought to the U.S. consulate by several of his Brazilian relatives, parading the scared boy by the awaiting photographers to his father who was waiting inside.

Sean cried as his stepfather and family lawyer steered him through the crowds of camera crews and onlookers.

His maternal grandmother, Silvana Bianchi, said in tears simply that “this is a very difficult moment.”

David Goldman and his son left to the airport about 15 minutes later.

New Jersey Congressman Chris Smith, who was in Brazil with Goldman, said on NBC’s “Today” show that once Sean was inside the consulate, he met with his father in a private conference room. Smith said they talked about basketball.

“There’s going to be some moments, but David is absolutely thrilled,” Smith said.

Goldman’s New Jersey-based lawyer, Patricia Apy, was very unhappy with the turnover of Sean.

“Unfortunately, the Brazilian family, rather than have the handoff take place in a garage, which would have been secure, parked away and walked him through the press, which only serves to make the situation more stressful for the child,” Apy said.

Blum also said the tumult during the boy’s delivery could have been avoided.

“The family was offered the same access to the consulate as the father, for whatever reason they chose to get out of their cars and walk in,” she said.

Although it was a traumatizing reunion, we all wish the best for Sean and David Goldman.

Entertainment World was Shocked.

Actress Brittany Murphy, the 32 year old actress,  has died, according to the Los Angeles coroner’s office.

Brittany Murphy, who starred in “Clueless” and with Eminem in “8 Mile,” was declared dead at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, according to Selena Barrows, an investigator with the coroner’s office.

“We have a preliminary death report of someone with the name of Brittany Murphy,” Barrows told TheWrap. The report came from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center at 11 a.m. on Sunday.

The news was first reported by TMZ.com.

TMZ said multiple sources reported that the actress Brittany Murphy had gone into cardiac arrest and could not be revived on Sunday morning. She reportedly was found unconscious in the shower by her mother.

Barrows said cardiac arrest could mean any number of things, and was not an indication of the cause of death.

Murphy had recently been fired from the movie “The Caller,” which had been shooting in Puerto Rico. No reason was given for the change, but Murphy was replaced by Rachelle Victoria Lefevre of “Twilight,” according to a fan site.

Murphy’s suspected excessive use of drugs had been the subject of widespread speculation, and was even the subject of a parody sketch on a recent “Saturday Night Live” Weekend Update.

The Los Angeles City Fire Department said a 911 call was made at 8 a.m. from the Los Angeles home of Murphy’s husband, Simon Monjack. She was pronounced dead on arrival at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

“In this time of sadness, the family thanks you for your love and support. It is their wish that you respect their privacy,” her publicist, Nicole Perna said in a statement.

Born in Atlanta, Murphy started acting in regional theater at age 9; by age 13, she had signed with a manager and began appearing in television commercials. Her first roles were on TV series such as “Murphy Brown” and “Parker Lewis Can’t Lose,” which led to her breakthrough film, 1995’s “Clueless.”

She had five movies currently in production, including “Poor Things,” with Rosario Dawson; “Shrinking Charlotte,” with Kathleen Turner; and Sylvester Stallone’s “The Expendables,” with Stallone, Jet Li and Jason Statham.

In 2005, she signed on as the spokesmodel for Jordache Jeans. She has been named to both FHM’S 10 Sexiest Women List, and Maxim’s Hot 100.

In 2006, she released the single “Faster Kill Pussycat,” which became a club hit on Billboard’s Hot Dance Club Play chart. She also covered Queen’s “Somebody to Love” and Earth, Wind & Fire’s “Boogie Wonderland” for the film “Happy Feet.”

She married screenwriter Simon Monjack (pictured with Murphy at last year’s Sony Ericsson Open) in 2007; before that, she was engaged to talent manager Jeff Kwatinetz, and production assistant Joe Macaluso. In late 2002, she dated Ashton Kutcher, with whom she co-starred in the film “Just Married.”

Kutcher late Sunday morning Twittered about Murphy’s death: “2day the world lost a little piece of sunshine. My deepest condolences go out 2 Brittany’s family, her husband, & her amazing mother Sharon.”

Holly Sampson said this in the now-famous Naughty America video that started at the x-rated entertainment company’s website and was picked up by TMZ and my blogs. But even with this revalation many media outlets continued to paint Holly Sampson as if she had a more recent affair with Woods, even as the evidence she talks about on camera points to the contrary.

What’s bothersome to me is Sampson’s recent statement that she’s not a homewrecker, obviously true, is being taken by some media outlets with a grain of salt, including TMZ.com, and they reported it.

By contrast, I noted it and took Holly’s words seriously because the video was made before the Tiger Woods scandal started.

To a degree there are media companies that seem to want this image of Tiger Woods having a lot of women at once to grow.

Those organizations are playing with fire and making themselves subject to character defamation lawsuits and requests for retraction by the same women involved in this story.

What outlets like TMZ – which has used such mocking language – forget is that these women have feelings too. If they know the facts – as Holly Sampson clearly does – and take care to explain what they are, then hear stories that are way off base and insulting of their character then they have the right to file a lawsuit.

5. Rachel Uchitel-Tiger Woods AFFAIR: Alleged Mistress To Admit To Relationship With Golfer

RadarOnline.com is reporting that Rachel Uchitel, first reported last week to have had an affair with Tiger Woods, will admit to the relationship in a press conference Thursday.

Uchitel’s attorney, Gloria Allred, will reportedly “make a statement about Ms. Uchitel’s relationship with Tiger Woods” at the news conference. Uchitel will attend the event but will not speak.

DreamHost.com clearly doesn’t have .ru in it and the answer should be announced soon as well as the winner.

DJ Matthew Roberts decided to search for his biological father, and then discovered he is serial killer Charles Manson. Yikes. Roberts, 41, said after he found out he fell into a depression, and didn’t want to believe it. “I was frightened and angry. It’s like finding out that Adolf Hitler is your father,” Roberts told The Sun.

Despite finding out his father was a serial killer in the late ’60s, he’s communicated with Manson via letters to his California prison. Roberts said anything he receives from Manson is signed with a swastika.

Jennifer Lopez debuted her new song “Louboutins” in a performance at the tonight’s American Music Awards. “Louboutins” is the first single of her new album Love? which is set to release next year.

The performance was powerful and displayed Jennifer Lopez in her element of song and dance, but regardless of how the performance went, it will be remembered for one thing: the fall.
